Comprehensive Guide with Export Run Company
Green Raisins: The Green Gold of Global Dried Fruit Trade
Green raisins, as one of the highest quality and most consumed types of raisins worldwide, hold a special place in global markets. This product, obtained by drying seedless green grapes (mainly Sultana or Thompson varieties), due to its mildly sweet taste, soft texture, and attractive color, is not only considered a healthy snack but also widely used in food industries, confectionery, and cooking. Export Run Company, with a deep understanding of this product’s value chain, operates as a specialized international producer, exporter, and importer.
Export-Quality Green Raisin Production Process
- Grape Selection and Harvesting: Using top green grape varieties from selected orchards, harvested at peak ripeness.
- Pre-treatment and Drying: Applying modern methods like mild alkaline solutions and shade drying or advanced drying tunnels to preserve green color and excellent taste.
- Sorting, Sulfuring, and Packaging: Mechanized and manual impurity removal, sulfuring (if required by target market) to maintain color, and hygienic packaging.
Producing high-quality green raisins requires strict adherence to standards from the orchard to final packaging. At Export Run Company, we meticulously manage this process:
The quality of our final product is verified by equipped quality control laboratories for moisture content, berry size, taste, color, and freedom from microbial and chemical contaminants. For familiarity with quality standards of other dried fruits like pistachios, visit the relevant page.
